Entre 30 de outubro e 1 de novembro, na cidade de GuiLin, China, ocorrerá o IDEAL 2017 – The 18th International Conference on Intelligent Data Engineering and Automated Learning.

O IDEAL 2017 é uma conferência internacional anual dedicada a tópicos emergentes e desafiadores em análise inteligente de dados, mineração de dados e seus sistemas de aprendizagem e paradigmas associados. Os seus principais temas incluem: desafios Big Data, Aprendizado de Máquinas, Mineração de Dados, Recuperação e Gestão de Informação, Bio e Neuroinformática, Modelos Bio-Inspirados (incluindo Redes Neurais, Computação Evolutiva e Inteligência de enxames), Agentes e Sistemas Inteligentes Híbridos, além de Aplicações do Mundo Real de Técnicas Inteligentes. Estimula-se também a submissão de artigos em outros temas e tópicos relacionados e emergentes.

IDEAL conference is an annual international conference dedicated to emerging and challenging topics in intelligent data analytics and associated learning systems and paradigms. Its core themes include: the Big Data Challenges, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Mining, Information Retrieval and Management, Bio- and Neuro-Informatics, Bio-Inspired Models (including Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computation and Swarm Intelligence), Agents, Autonomous and Hybrid Intelligent Systems, as well as Real-world Applications of Intelligent Techniques. Other related and emerging themes and topics are also welcome. After recent successful events, IDEAL 2016 (Yangzhou, China), IDEAL 2015 (Wroclaw, Poland), IDEAL 2014 (Salamanca, Spain), IDEAL 2013 (Hefei, China), IDEAL 2012 (Natal, Brazil), IDEAL 2011 (Norwich, England), the 18th edition, IDEAL 2017, will take place in the beautiful tourist city Guilin, China from 30 October to 1 November 2017.
The conference provides a unique opportunity and stimulating forum for presenting and discussing the latest theoretical advances and real-world applications in Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Data Analysis. Authors and researchers are warmly invited to submit their latest findings and research work to the conference. Prospective organizers for Special Sessions/Workshops are cordially invited to submit their proposals to the the Programme Co-Chair, Antonio Tallón (atallon@us.es).
Instructions for Authors
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts (in pdf format) written in English by the deadline via the conference online submission system (accessible via IDEAL 2017 website). All submissions will be refereed by experts in the field based on originality, significance, quality and clarity. All contributions must be original, should not have been published elsewhere and must not be submitted elsewhere during the review period. Papers should not exceed 10 pages and must comply with the format of Springer LNCS/LNAI Proceedings. (see https://www.springer.com/
Submissions are via the EasyChair system,

All submissions will undergo rigorous peer-review process. Accepted papers (main conference and special sessions) will be included in the Proceedings of IDEAL 2017, to be published by Springer in its prestigious LNCS series, which is indexed in EI. There will be Best Paper Awards, with sponsorship from Springer LNCS. In addition, selected papers will be invited for special issues in leading international journals in the field such as the International Journals of Neural Systems (IJNS).

Guilin is also a renowned historical and cultural city with 2000 years of history and has a great number of ancient cultural relics.
